Every time this comes up, we're left with the big question - "what about zetas" - fleet income isn't just about crystals - it's also about zeta income. Plenty of people, even with large rosters are still feeling crunched on those, so while it might work out fine for people that don't care about zetas, the rest of us are still going to be faced with the misery of a fleet climb every day.
I'd be just fine with fleet arena going the way of squad arena, but the whole thing needs to be addressed, not just crystals.
The difference between 1st and 20th place in fleet is 400 crystals vs 100 and 1800 tokens vs 1350. If I could coast in top 20 without ever having to play fleet arena again, I would gladly give up 25% tokens vs 75% crystals.
