You can be a collector and get every characters maxed out or just work on areas of the game you like while ignoring other aspects. Think of it as players being able to create game modes within a game but moreso it helps prolong peoples' interest. Thanks for your insight. I believe it can be beneficial but has to be very limited. If you could do it too often (maybe once a month is too many) it would definitely come to what you depicted.
