RJT event prep

I know it's a bit early for this (considering the event is probably not going to be back for a while) but I figured I'd get a head start on farming gear for the required characters and such, might as well be prepared for whenever RJT comes back. I'm curious what gear level I should try and farm them to and whether or not I need zetas on my toons to get through the event. Right now I have all but the vets at g8 (vets at g7, almost g8). Should I plan on getting them to g9/10? I've heard that this event was harder than the one for CLS...any help is much appreciated.

    Spoiler - Vet Han dies, so don't waste to much time getting a lot of gear into him. I did the event with the following.

    Rey G10, BB8 G9, Fin and both Vets G8. It took a few tries to say the least. If you've done the CLS event this one is very similar. If you have Fin, BB8, and Rey at G9 or higher then this should be easy enough to do. I would prioritize the characters as follows - Rey, BB8, Fin, Vet Chewie, and then Han.

    I did it with Rey and bb8 G10, finn g11 zeta(not necessary that high or with zeta) and vets g8 in first run

    Nice. Chewie is just over 20 shards away. The rest I have covered by the sounds of it.

    Good to know! I'll try and get them around g10. Good news is we have a while until the next one so...

    What would be the minimum gear for vets? If I have my arena mods on g7 vets would that suffice with a little rng luck?
