Shard drop rate per node?

been searching the forums trying to find out if the 30% drop rate is per node or across all nodes....been farming for a certain toon(ship) and i wish i could say the rate has been terrible which would...

It's the same for every node. The game doesn't hate you, you just hit a bad streak.

I'm farming Canderous right now - yesterday I got 16 shards, today I got 5. Just luck of the draw.
