They said that Talzin was going to "follow the release cadence" and thus they were going to run it once a month *after* the 2-3 month break that you would normally get before a character becomes farmable. So we are about to get its first return, and after that it should be once a month.

Considering we have 2 characters released after the new NS not going the wicket/MT heroic event route I would say it is not the norm.

2 characters in one release doesn't preclude more characters being released this way.

Didn't say it does. I do think we will have more characters released this way but it is by no means the norm.

I left out legendary and heroes journey. But that is 13 character release since the new ewoks with 2 going the heroic event route.

Not sure why you aren't counting Spirit and Zombie as part of this same route. They are currently only "farmable" through their monthly event also.

Not sure why you aren't counting Spirit and Zombie as part of this same route. They are currently only "farmable" through their monthly event also.

I didn't count them because their event was available right away no delay and it is not a heroic event that give 10 shards only. They are "farmed" differently than wicket and talzin. The spirit/zombie event was also not limited to NS only like talzin event. So again the heroic events of wicket and talzin are not the norm.

I agree that they're not the norm, but to me Zombie and Spirit are just as bad. There being no delay is only a difference of a couple of months, and is countered by the fact that you aren't guaranteed 10 shards each time and might wind up with 0 shards of the one you actually want. So I would count it as 4/13 terrible farms rather than 2/13.

Ok sure 4/13 still doesn't make the obtainable thru events the norm as many (not in just this thread but others also) are trying to make it seem. Just seems many like to only remember the things they don't like not all the others in between that haven't went this direction

Yep. I expect we will see a few more of these (unfortunately), but most new characters are still going to be marquee events and become farmable normally after a few months.
