Ship challenges for new players hitting 60

I tried all different kinds of combinations, wasted her materials and credits leveling the few different ships a fresh level 60 would have and nothing works. It cannot be done without spending tons of cash for ships in the store.
So now she can't complete her daily activities for the day, because the new ship challenge activity is now unwinnable until she unlocks new ships weeks or months from now. So not cool and now she has gotten frustrated and may stop playing because whats the point if you can't enjoy the new content you just unlocked?
It requires lvl 60 ship with lvl 85 tier 12 pilots CG only uses max toons for testing
