Should I keep gearing up bad ewoks, or farm better ones mostly from scratch?

I've gotten through tier 6 with what might be the worst Ewok line up (no Paploo or Wicket) and have hit the tier 7 wall. Do y'all think it would be quicker/smarter to over-gear my crummy team, or star...
