This is the line you cannot cross? You're ok with witches magically infecting everybody else, or endlessly reviving the undead, but robots shouldn't get infections... that's the point where you can no longer suspend reality and just roll with it. Well, ok then.
If you keep with actual Star Wars lore, then yes. Unfortunately, nightsisters are part of Star Wars since the clone wars series.
Nightsisters were a mistake that only Grievous could fix.
