It's incredibly dissapointing that I'll never be able to get Darth Malak for my Sith Empire team unless I waste time and resources on heroes that I just don't care to have in my collection.
Your last paragraph sums up how I feel about farming the veterans for JTR, or Ewoks for 3PO, or FB Luke and ST Han for CLS. And while I personally like the SW:Rebels characters, I've seen others voice similar opinions about the need to farm Phoenix for Thrawn.
