Well, the real punch in the gut is knowing that I spent the last 5 months singularly focused on getting the characters necessary for this, in fact a bit longer because I had already decided before GS's requirements were announced that I'd be going for Padme and GG teams. I put everything else on the backburner, and I had skipped the last 2 meta cycles, both JKR and Darth Revan/Malak.
If I miss it this time, people who only halfheartedly/casually farmed for this event will be on the same foot as me, while having developed other things alongside, and not having skipped those 2 metas. I'm in a lose lose situation no matter how you look at it.
I'm probably going to quit after missing this, depending on how much CG expects me to spend to get the 50+ shards I still need.
To spend 5 months farming as hard as I can, only to miss out and be in the same crowd as people who did it casually, it's like why bother. By then GL's will be out as well, I won't get as much use out of the character and team then. Just wasted effort.
Ok, so only 54 ETA shards stand in your way of getting GAS? 4 days until the event arrives and is it 4 days of the event, giving you 8 days? That’s 7 shards avg per day, so if you pour everything you have into ETA is there a chance you could pull it off? I’m talking spending all your crystals and refreshing as much as possible.
