Since Thrawn is around the corner

I am worried if I'll manage to get a 7* Thrawn this time with my current Phoenix squad: https://swgoh.gg/u/cyclonick/squads/89245/ I would like to skip getting Zeb to g9 as well as "omega-ing" all ...

I have decided to see how far I can go with the current setup and am currently saving some omegas and crystals to adjust if needed.

I just do not want to have to do 650 tries till RNG decides to finally give in...

In terms of gear and ability levels, you’re probably fine. I’d agree with the earlier poster who suggested making Zeb faster, since you’ll need to use him often to stun-lock Thrawn.
Here’s my Phoenix squad for comparison. I got 7* Thrawn last event and aside from Chopper now being gear 10 (he was gear 9 for the event), it’s pretty much the same now as it was for the event, including mods: https://swgoh.gg/u/kaimulai/squads/26311/
