That was weak. You fail at Balancing 101.
If they keep putting out more powerful toons (imbalanced) where does it stop? When the next set of toons come out why would I pay for them unless they were considerably more powerful than Chirrut and Baze?
Again, no two toons should beat five enemies with more stars, even if AI was weak at defense.
I didn't know I was enrolled in a class. Guess I should have studied.
It probably would not have helped in your case :)
This entire discussion is completely opinionated and full of assumptions.
Surprise, players have opinions...
The biggest one is that some players are assuming the developers want a completely balanced game.
Some, yes, many others, no. I'm not sure why you think this is relevant here.
If a brand new characters is no better then an old one why would I bother to spend to get the character completed faster.
This here is where the problem is. We have Cassian, we have Jyn Erso, there's also the freebie K2SO. For whatever reason the dynamic duo without 'stach were made too good.
I don't want balance in the game.
I do. When I started the game there were ads all over the place to spend and get Kylo Ren. I'm f2p, so didn't even consider spending. If this is the power curve, where can I sign up to get the next p2w character?
Balance is boring. I say this still losing to plenty of Baze Chirrut teams withk my own baze chirrut.
No, lack of variety is boring. This is the trend. Many of us don't like it. The new toons can be good, but in this case they do everything. Imagine Barriss with zeta hitting for 20-25k with a crit. There's a reason why she has weaker attacks.
Many complaints in the past were about having 3* or 4* characters that were "useless" till they could be farmed up to 7*. Well guess what that is not really the case anymore. That is a good thing IMO.
Taken in a vacuum, yes, but not in the context here.
