If you put a 100 or 50 crystals limit for 24 hours....which hacker is motivated to sit there and click "give me crystals" button every 24 hours.

My post was about a in-game feature to share in-game currency, similar to how gear pieces are donated.

We get exactly what you're saying. And this genius would be highly motivated to add an alt acount the instant that was added. I'd do the bare minimum daily activity in a few min, and and have a steady source of 50 free crystals a day. I think your idea should be implemented immediately so I can get the free 18,250 crystals per year from exploiting it.

Well, if it will be restricted to only guilds, it will demotivate to create alts. Why ? Because if you put crystals to main, advance of alts will be slower, and this will slow down your raids earning/progres.
Of course, sending between guild member will be restricted in way that you can only send crystals if you are in guild for over 3 days, so no quick join and leave, and if it will be limited to say max 100 per day , it will make leaving and rejpining guild pointles.

You are not purchasing crystals for someone else but just sharing what you already have.

Click guild member, select up to 50 crystals. Submit.

Create a guild with your 49 alt accounts. Dump all crystals to main. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

Implement secret system which keep track of senders and especialy recivers, ip addres used to login to chars, time of creation, log in/out...and few others and voala if you get more positives ban booth alts and mains.
So that way if you play smart you shouls get away with 1 alt, but get instaban with many alts.
Just look how devs dealed with using alts to boost guild stats, it taked lot of complains from players and effort from devs, but with current system using alts for guild boosting is usless.
With that in mind, they can make system which make alta for crystal farming usless in advance.
