TAC Gear Challange - Worthless for Everyone?

I am curious if all of the gear in this challenge is as worthless for everyone else as it is for me? It used to be that the Mk 5 Loroner Power Cells were a gate because they were only in the lower tier challenge. After they fixed it so all the gear from the lower tiers was in the higher tiers, that gate went away. Now I have more of these gear pieces than I could ever need. Are there people who still need the gear in this challenge? What level are you?
