Put my best in the Platoons... Frack. No explanation.

Guess I was groggy this morning but I saw no mention of platoons in the tutorial. Just deployed everyone and did a combat mission and now I'm locked out. I guess some of it is on me but the tutorial could be more clear IMHO.

I deployed all and was able to do the missions as well as the platoons before servers went down. With that said, you should do the missions first before you assign units to platoons, otherwise if you do platoons first, you won't have access to those toons in missions.

Both, depending on the Phase and region. Look at P2 south, platoons give bonuses to Rear Trenches and Power Generator, which are middle and south of P3. Then look at P5 middle, which weakens the At-At in P5 middle. P2 north platoons give bonuses for P3, P4, and P5

You can figure the whole thing out just by reading the content in the game.

Other than the Hoth characters that are required for special missions during a certain phase are there any other characters that won't show up during platoon missions.

For example my guild had to deploy a 3* Logray and Paploo today. It was fine because 50 of us have them at 3* but if they asked for a 6* or 7* Logray/Paploo we wouldn't be able to fill that platoon. And it's quite unfair considering that they are not farmable.

Platoon should have a combat phase built into it. As of now, there's really no differences between Platoon and Deployments in each TB area.

Our two platoons today needed a dozen Bodhi Rooks.

Constructive feedback: Maybe insert a cap on the number of time a specific character can come up ;) If there *is* a cap and it's a dozen, then lower it :P

It would be nice if we could have a toggle-flag to prevent assigning a key toon to a platoon accidentally. Not dissimilar to the lock function on mods.

Seen a few guildies just assign away to platoons then realize they screwed up and dont have a good enough team for missions.

Yes, its a fairly easy to avoid mistake.. but still, the option would be nice.

What would be great is if someone could develop this into an app for Crouching Rancor that could use swgoh.gg data for each guild, then allow officers to input platoon info each day to see who could fulfill the platoon requirements or even advise which platoons to work on, or avoid altogether.
