TBs and deployment

Hi guys,
Can anyone confirm if it is necessary to lvlup/gear/star the characters for deployment in territory battles?

I've seen videos of people deploying level 1 units and I do not know if that provides the same amount of points than fully leveled characters.

They will be worth more GP when deployed. Not necessary but a long term goal if you want to 3* the territory

Phase 1: 2+ star toons
Phase 2: 3+ star toons
Etc

No, better toons=more points

Ok, thanks! That's what I needed to know. So guilds need to check between their members who has the best troop available. Right?

Any toon deployed to TB phases matters, just don't deploy the ones you need for combat or platoon missions.

What I mean is if a guild has a:

7* 85 Chirrut
6* 55 Chirrut
3* 85 Chirrut

The player with the 7* 85 Chirrut should be the one to deploy and not the others.

I think you are confused... It looks like you are talking about platoon missions

As i understand any ls toon deployed can be used in misions only in the territory deployed,and cannot be used in another teritory in the same phase.If you do the missions first they are automatically deployd to that territory.
And yes you can deploy all roster ds and ls toons both,but you can only use ls in missions.

All that matters for Platoons is stars. Each slot has a minimum requirement and if you meet it you're good!
