The Boredom is Killing Me
Nothing else to do after my 15 minutes of daily activities, and just doing the daily Arena climb that is just as dull and boring with Rey Mirror Matches or Kylo seems to be worse after the so called b...

You could like, go outside, watch a movie, read a book or even, the horror, spend time with your family if your bored.
I know what I’d rather do than complain about a mobile game not giving me enough to occupy my time, especially after the years of campaigning by people to get the time sink reduced..
If you believe it or not, some people are gamers by heart and would love to be able to spend more time on their favourite games. Your priorities are different, fine, but don't judge about others please. B)
Yeah...as a gamer I fully agree with him and roll my eyes at that complaint. Games like this really don't need to be even more of a constant time sink. Its fine in the short term with events or temporary modes but it certainly doesn't need more permanent daily stuff.
Why not? No one would force you to play if there were more things to do in the game. You can play as much as you want, why do you care if others played more than you?
Rewards.
Yeah, I don’t understand that logic at all.
Basically that logic is: I don’t mind people spending money to get more things in the game, but I don’t want people to be able to spend more time in the game to get more things.
I'm explaining why it might bother some people. Just like spenders bother some people.
Also there's some things you can't buy. What if the additional rewards were more GET.
I understand why it bothers people, I just think it’s not a sound argument, especially if they don’t mind the fact that people can spend massive amounts of money to get more stuff.
The only thing I would agree with is no GET currency or zetas.
To me the argument doesn’t hold water from a player perspective. From CGs perspective I can see an argument for keeping the status quo.
I realize that I can't keep up with someone willing to spend the equivalent of a new Mercedes on a couple of poorly designed toons. I don't also want to have to compete with people who have time to spend all day on the game, for whatever reason.
The average ftp or low end spender only has so much time in the day to play. That amount certainly varies from person to person, but they have to appeal to the widest audience possible to keep people playing. That is why no matter the amount of content, someone will be unhappy that it's too much or not enough.
What’s the difference between money and time and why is it ok to you for someone to put more money into the game to get more stuff vs someone who puts more time into the game to get more stuff?
I don’t think anyone is saying, hey let’s have rewards based activities all day long for as long as anyone wants. But honestly, most people are in and out of this game pretty quick, there’s just not much to do. Adding some more things to do, whether you personally have the time for it or not is not a bad thing and wouldn’t affect you one bit.
I understand why CG doesn’t want it, but makes zero sense why players don’t want it or think that their lack of time afforded to the game matters to anyone else.
LOL at this game being too much of a timesink now. That’s great if it is for you, but that’s not everyone’s situation or desire.
I'm ok with the money part, because I understand this is a business. The big spenders support the game and allow me to play for little or no money. The percentage of krakens is very small, and allows me to still feel competitive overall.
When it comes to time, it opens up a way larger population that would likely be able to obtain a substantial amount of rewards that would take away any chance of me staying competitive.
That being said, I'm not saying it's about what's right or wrong, it's about how to make the time factor work for the largest amount of people possible. I guarantee that they, and the mobile gaming industry in general, have invested heavily on researching how much time the average person is willing to spend on this or any game, and they will adhere to that.
I think I heard that bare minimum time needed and spent in game for MSF is like 10 mins more daily, something like that. On top of that though, you can actually spend more time there, although not required.
I used to think this game probably follows industry standard and philosophy on time sink, but lately, I’m not sure they actually do.
I don't know either, but the point is, there is a limit to how much time a game can take. There would be negative consequences to rewarding ppl for spending several hours a day (outside of occasional events and whatnot).
