The Grievous rework: one month later

So it's been one month from when the GG rework was shown and most of the community can agree on one thing: This is the most disappointing faction rework this game has ever seen

One could almost say people who were excited for GG's rework are now in a state of grievous depression

First lets cover what game modes he's good in

Most just wanted him to be a Revan counter and get thrashed by Cls and Traya but he couldn't even do that to the point that he's not even that good in arena (Yes he can win but not to the point where you'd use him over Cls and Traya, let alone Revan) but that's not all, it gets worse

His passive damaging his team makes him terrible in tb and raids since you need some sort of survivability (to reach wave 4 in p6 or enrage in raids) or to kill your enemies very quickly to do good in those modes (Think like Chex mix in p3 or Zep and rebels in tb) and GG's team can't do what's needed fast enough to succeed in either of those modes but even then, most other teams don't KILL their team faster than the enemy can (seriously, GG basically kills b1 faster than the enemy can so you aren't making it to enrage or wave 4 in dstb)

He and his army can't be used in ships (for now) and he doesn't have any events that specifically need him (no events need separatists at all and droids could already complete any event that required them, at least until the Hk rework)

Sure, he MAY be good in tw and ga but most Tw viable guilds have enough toons to offset not having GG so he'll only really shine in ga on offence to kill a Carth team (who are also rare and needed for both Revans) or on defence if your opponent underestimates them.
HOWEVER, despite what most may think, not everyone cares about being competitive in GA (and TW if you don't have a good guild) aside from the rewards, because people who prefer pve content over pvp content DO EXIST (I'm one of them)

So that's 2/7 game modes they're good at (2.5/7 if you REALLY want to make them usable in arena) which is TERRIBLE compared to other factions (most stand around being good in around 5/7 game modes), so with numbers like that, we're left with one question: WHY build a Grievous team?

There are two reasons I can think of
1: Because you REALLY want another tw/ga team
2: You really want to gear GG and his fellow seps to make a good team

Let's not even talk about how Hk's lead got nerfed to hell and has zero droid synergies making GG the only viable droid leader (is anyone going to use Lobot? Or Poggle? Or Ig-88's lead? No, they aren't)

But that's not even talking about the investment because in order for the team to be good he needs at least THREE zetas (maybe even four for his unique) and tons of gear (Magnaguard is nearly on par with GK when it comes to Carbantis). Meanwhile other teams need 1 zeta to become completely transformed into GREAT team (Bh, Zep, Bastila jedi, Imp troops and even Sisters, Carth and Scoundrels to a lesser extent come to mind) but you give GG 3 and he becomes a good team (which gets worse if you consider how giving more zetas to squads that need 1 to thrive improves them even more than what GG could ever dream of)

Is GG bad now?
No, absolutely not, he's much better than before and can pull some sneaky wins for you (He was the clincher in one of my Ga matched cause my opponent took two teams to kill him)

Is he worth building though?
ONLY build him if you're a GG/Droid/Sep mega fan, or have nothing else to do

Hopefully we get some more droid and sep content (be it new characters or reworks) later like we did with BH or GG will fade back into obscurity of being a b tier team

From a disappointed GG fan
