That's funny to me because I was f2p for a long time and I was pretty competitive. I know plenty other f2p players who consistently outperform paying players.
Paying doesn't automatically make you smart and resourceful. Only if you go full on kraken can you eliminate the need to be resourceful, but the first one can't be bought.
