This game is completely unreasonable

Been playing this game for about a month now, reached level 59 and I've gotten to the point where I think I'm going to stop. There are a multitude of issues I have with this game and I realize that this is pay-to-win and these things might be deemed acceptable due to the predatory business model that EA has chosen to employ but I just needed to air my grievances.

1. Squad Arena
This is more a complaint about the specious "power" statistic than anything, but this number is completely arbitrary. Realistically a squad with a higher number will be victorious more often than not, which has my experience. "Power" does not account for synergy in the cases of the Nightsisters teams and Phoenix squadron teams and grossly under rates certain characters. This is clearly detrimental to people who are looking for a moderate challenge only to be steam rolled by one attack cycle.

2. Galactic War
This is a mode that should become progressively more difficult, not be easy except for one or two roadblock teams that are 10 or 12 levels higher than you are. I have given up ever completing this mode again after my most recent run where the final node is 13 levels higher than I am. It seems like in a lot of these instances the game is designed to pit you against players who have invested much more than you in order to incentivize you to dump money into the game just to be competitive.

3. Character balance
Some of the characters in this game are still too good. Mother Talzin and Boba Fett are prime examples. Teams with Boba on them basically have 6 characters, the fact that his buff can even come back is too much. Execute is not nearly common enough to deal with this. Talzin is a case of being rewarded too heavily for synergy, the NS team just stacks the poison debuff on you much too quickly to be able to do anything.

Naturally I'm sure that the response to these problems is "well you just need to spend more money on the game in order to compete" and if that is really the only solution then I have found the answer I was looking for. If I've hit the wall then there is no more enjoyment to be had for me with this game and I will uninstall it.

Everybody was pretty nice I'm shocked and proud. It a game don't take it so serious. But also know if after a month u are so frustrated w boba's and what not then later your head is going to explode w other teams u will face. The solution is just like in life time or money.
  • No offense op, i understand your position, but seriously ...

    LOL

There are counters. You will learn them uf you put in the time.
  • The key here is time and focus. It's going to take time and patience to grind a good squad. I am a total FTP and yes it is a little rough, but it's a challenge and it can be fun if you do it right. Once you get to lvl 85, Finn and a resistance squad is an EXCELLENT squad. However, for low level (
  • I will agree that some things in-game are unreasonable. Like reduction in credit heist frequency.

No I didn't miss anything. Until the average actually changes they didn't actually change anything. if there is more before new content, and maybe less when there is no content then the average still holds.

Ok, so are you saying that we can not believe the devs when they tell us what is going to happen? That their announcements mean nothing? Just trying to be clear.

You say nothing has changed. Kozi says it has. And there it is.

I see no statement there that say the average income will change, let alone be lower as you seem to think. The cadence may change causing them to not always be 6 days apart, and may fall outside of the 12 day period, that is the only thing being stated there. and even that is not stated but more implied. I would just think that maybe we should wait for empirical evidence before making direct statements about what is happening.
  • @Kyno glass is definitely half full for you. They announced a change in Heist schedule.

Logically I see three options, one of which makes the most sense:

A- If it were to only move dates around but keep same frequency, why would it be worth the effort to move the heists and deal with breaking a year "tradition" , throwing off all players?

B- If it were to increase frequency, why not announce that? Certainly the players would rejoice

C- If it were to decrease frequency, you would be careful with wording and give a warning to players to update expectations/cadence. (Most likely the case from my perspective )

But as always CG manages to choose D, none of the above and who knows what is happening with our beloved heists , (even after "explaining" / "announcing a change" nobody can agree what is changing or what is going on until player base decodes based on historical data after the fact)
