Can someone with 2 million GP out skill their way to kyber? If so, how? If they can't, why? Because skill is dependent on GP? So it's not skill based then. (Last edit) a lot of people with larger rosters don't understand the biggest issue as to why ignoring GP is wrong. Think of it this way, 1 million GP vs 2 million GP (this happens now) that person has TWICE the size of their roster, yet they're matched up. People with 7 million GP versing 8 or 9 still manage because it's not the same ratio, you'd have to verse 14 MILLION GP to experience the same affect. This is why it's not based in skill, this system disproportionately affects ALL new players.

Yeah you read that correctly. Why does CG think this is good for the community? No clue. It's definitely a community killer. They have 3 galactic legends and 1.2 million more GP than me. How is this a fair and balanced game? I'm utterly lost as to why this was implemented. This isn't "skill based matchmaking" if you can't "out skill" your way to the top. The old GAC was skill based. That's why you'll see people with 3 million GP with kyber tags, because they beat equal opponents and proved their skill.

Not sure that's a great idea.I think this system is way better than the old GP based system. Miles better. We get to show how well we can use our own rosters.

This new GAC isn't skill based matchmaking. Change my mind

And when they matched solely on GP, there were dozens of posts about the fact that matchmaking sucked cuz it didn’t take this or that into account. There is no way they could ever do this and make everyone happy, you just happen to be one of those on the unhappy side of the fence for this particular method, I on the other hand am fine with it.

Great you finally respond without harassment. Thanks. Everyone fine with it has a large roster, everyone with a larger roster is biased because this favors their success. It's harder for newer players to succeed this way. The old GAC was skill based because it sets the two opponents equal to one another, where as this has no clear definition of equality

Honestly I've made all the arguments I could have made. The rest is up to the readers to understand what takes skill and what takes money. Hopefully this will generate enough discussion to acknowledge the fact that it isn't skill based match making. They have an intentional GP hierarchy, that isn't skill, it's just GP size. It affects people from the bottom up, bottom being most affected negatively. Top being affected the most positively. Sounds like corporate America at its best. Goodbye
