Thoughts on Thermal Detonators?

I don't see the point of detonators (at least not right now) because of the Arena battles lasting a couple turns. Speed for some characters are two high so some characters die too quickly, detonators ...

I wish they didn't count as a negative status effect and therefore couldn't be resisted (dodged yes, but not resisted). That's the only change I'd make.
