Thoughts on Thermal Detonators?

Let me say this also. Just played an arena match where ig86 uses his special to attack EP at 3/4 Hp. He called JE for the assist, who drops a thermal that MISSED. Wasted a special and allowed EP to gain full health when he otherwise would have been dead.
That's why they released zam and Jawa scavenger. Can't fix thermals, so they release toons that auto detonate.

So at the very least they become like assists with Zam and JS? That sounds interesting on paper

It's the only conclusion I have come to as to why zam and JS have that ability. They know thermals suck, and thats the only fix. I just don't have room for JS in my squad for the sole purpose of making another characters attack effective.
