Thrawn changes are completely unfair

Yet on my other account, I did it at as a L74, G7 and G8 Phoenix squad that I've never geared since. If Phoenix were useful for any other purpose than Thrawn that'd be fine, but how come you're effectively creating even further gaps between old timers and new timers?

If they did it with L74 G7 phoenix squad members, why do we need to invest precious resources (which drop rates you seem to have stifled) to do the same thing?

You got him at Gear 7 under 85 on an account? That's amazing. literally AMAZING!!!

When the event first came out there was post after post about people complaining that this event required G9 or g10 to complete. Same thing with when it came back for the first time.

It and R2 are by far the hardest of the legendary events and have been since they came out. There was no stealth buff to this event, you just happened to get superlatively, ridiculously, nonsensically lucky on your other account to beat at G7 level 70ish.

*gingerly dips toe in angry waters* They did rework the Thrawn AI in all game modes after the 1st run of the event, causing the difficulty to increase. It was G7/8 before the change. They changed it pretty quickly after the 1st Thrawn event when he got into general circulation. Since then, it's been pretty close to G8/9 with good RNG to make it work. Personally, I had all G8 except a G9 Ezra and it took many tries to get the right RNG (ex. Ezra starting last phase vs Ezra finishing penultimate phase, Thrawn resisting the stun I really needed to land, etc).

As for Phoenix being useless, agreed overall, but Ezra is a fairly solid damage dealer for a jedi, so gearing him up can be worth it with a GK or zQGJ lead

The threads from the original event were full of people complaining that it wasn't possible with less than G9. I distinctly remember the few people that posted getting him at g8 were called liars. No one posted about getting him at g7 at that time. I did see someone post about getting him with G7/G8 characters when it was re-released for the first time... ONE person.

The difficulty of the event didn't increase. Maybe they reworked his AI in other game modes, but it didn't change the event. This guy just had amazing RNG on one account and thinks that it was the norm.
