Usually I think that happens when your client is wuite delayed in sending data back to the server.
Eg if your screen turns off before you time out and you come back minutes later. Then your phone haven’t communicated to the server around battle end that it’s a timeout and then the battle will expire.
I’ve never seen this message due to poor connection but I’m fairly certain I’ve seen it in conquest when the above happened
