It looks to me based on your first pic that you did not max your defensive banners and your opponent started with more defensive banners then you did.
In any case, you need a pic showing the map before any attacks have happened to see the initial defensive banner scores of both guilds,
or perhaps a pic of a non-back zone so we can see how much those territories are worth when cleared and then do some math to figure out your initial defensive banner score (i think that should work with the info in the other pics you have posted).
If we don’t set up full defence, less spots to attack for the other guild, so they wouldn’t have full points. That is why defence gives 20 points and attack 10, to avoid this tatics. It is just simple maths really... If they have full point we must have full defence. Is not obvious?
