Useless Marquee Clutter

Come on now, CG.

Think for a moment about what you're doing and how that affects player QoL. I now have 4 useless Gungan Marquee events cluttering up my Events for two weeks?

There are lots of events that don't show up for players who meet the preconditions. Just set the precondition for any returning marquee, "Don't have this toons at relic 8," or maybe even just "Don't have this toon at 7 stars."

But even if you insist on running them again, why do they have to be left-shifted? Can't they be on the far right of active events so that I don't have to constantly scroll through them for 2 weeks? This has happened before, and honestly it's getting tiresome.

This is basic UI design. This is something that you know is useless to me, yet you're forcing it not only to display, but to take special prominence.

Why you gotta do us like that, CG?

  • Exactly this. I can understand how they would be useful for people who missed the first run. Meanwhile, for everyone else, they're literally nothing more than wastes of space. They offer absolutely no rewards, so we're stuck with them filling up the events page for two weeks. Like you said, there are other events that don't show up at all or at least are placed at the far right of the page. The Phoenix (or whatever it was) and the pre-Naboo catch-up events are examples of this. If you already had the toons unlocked/finished, they still showed up but were at the very end of the list, not up front. IIRC, pre-JG legendary events disappeared completely once you got the toon at 7*, so it shouldn't be that hard to set marquee events to do the same.
