To the OP: Thanks! I pay attention and look for new from the devs, but even I missed some of the info you found. I also agree to take that screenshot with a grain of salt. People have been saying the veterans would be needed for Rey since they guest showed their face in the BB-8 event. I will be alert for them when made farmable, but i also will not claim as fact that they will be required for anything.
