That's the looks cool on screen but doesn't really serve a purpose style.- IchiraikouNew Spectator

That's what it looks like when a form 3 user (Focused on defence and stamina) and a form 5 user (focused on Counterattacks), anticipate and adapt to each others moves so fast their weapons don't even touch anymore. (or that is the official explanation anyway)"efazboka71;c-2183181" wrote:
Obi-Wan use Soresu, ok. But He always use this Makashi attack, and he also teach Anakin this attack. Anakin used this Strike, but Bad Luck. Anakin wasn't expert to use this. That's why Obi-Wan warned Anakin not to try it.
How many times do I have to say it. Nether anakin nor obi wan ever used Makashi at any point in their careers. Never. Neither had any "Makashi attack" to use. What is so difficult to understand about this? There is literally no way to misinterpreted this. The only notable Makashi users that I know of are Count Dooku and Ki-Adi-Mundi. That is GG form- Now I want to say one thing.
In Ep I,
Did Obi-Wan told Maul that he had the high ground?
In Ep II,
Did he told Jango and Dooku that he had the high ground?
In Ep III,
Did he told Dooku and Grievous that he had the high ground?
Come to the point, he told it Anakin because the distance between Obi-Wan and Anakin was very long and Obi-Wan knew that to kill him, Anakin will use The attack.SpoilerThat's why Obi-Wan told Anakin that he had the high ground.I don't know what is the name of that attack, I just saw a video of Star Wars Theory and he said that this attack was also into Makashi. For @Ichiraikou, I am not using the word 'Makashi'. "Ichiraikou;c-2183517" wrote:

@efazboka71 I think I finally know where things went wrong. I believe I know the particular video you speak of. But what he said in the video isn't "Makashi finishing move", it's "Mou Kei finishing move". (Mou Kei is the name of a devastating attack that cuts off several limbs at once). It's a simple misunderstanding.
Here is the Wookiepedia page of Mou Kei: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Mou_kei
And here is the video, to confirm: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgn8Ro-2j00
Ok, so Mou Kei. Name is cool for Ultimate Ability.- IchiraikouNew Spectator

Is it also Mou Kei?
No, I don't think so. Mou Kei is an attack that cuts of several limbs at once (as in arms and legs), while here he just cut him in half. Plus the wiki never mentions this moment as it being used, and you'd think it would.
I also looked up a video from Star Wars Theory about this fight, and Mou Kei is never mentioned. He just sliced him in half with a normal attack: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wY9FRXGfhEg
So what is the name of the move what Obi-Wan always use? I mean jump, reach to behind and strike.
That's, not a special named attack or anything. It's just using Force Jump to get behind your opponent and then strike them while their vulnerable. Literally all Force Users can do that. It's called positioning. Besides, if any Jedi would be associated with Jumping attacks, it be Yoda. - "Strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine."
I think that this would make a great ability name before he turns into a Force Ghost. "efazboka71;c-2184211" wrote:
Seriously?
Yes ?- Can someone explain what will be "I Have The High Ground"'s animation? Obi-Wan told it for once.
