Where is MY Defense in GA?

i decided to go with the same defensive lineup as on day one
so i didnt set a defense because it should autodeploy the stuff from day one at day 2

my problem is now that i have zero defense and the toons from day 1 defense are not available for offense aswell

anyone else experienced this?
any possibility to solve this?

    Oh, I thought they even removed this feature because of some bugs in their code. I just set my defense always so I have not experienced this. So maybe someone who does this all the time can elaborate.

    The auto deploy only comes into play if you do absolutely nothing. Setting even a single team in a single zone will mean the game recognises that you wanted to deploy manually.

    OP: what was the problem when you tried to post to Answers HQ? Normally that's the fastest way to get this addressed.

    No they removed the feature that would auto-deploy for you in round 1 if you didn't set any defenses because that code was bugged and would occasionally repeat teams when switching to the second row of territories.

    The auto-deploy has been inactive for a while now hasn't it? I just always sent my defences manually because every opponent is different.

    The auto-deploy for round 1 based on previous GA defences was turned off. It's bugged.

    The auto-deploy in the same GA event between rounds is still active.

    I never set the exact same defense anyway....I always customize my strategy to my opponent....but I would be too hesitant to trust an auto-deploy feature on defense even if I wanted to use the exact same defense.

    What they should do is add a button: "deploy same as last time" and then: "are you sure to want deploy the same defence".

    And: they should let you remove set defence, for as long as the setup phase is running.

    They are already working on fixing this particular bug at least.
