- Q: Will you add a confirmation button for the gac registration or the chance to cancel and register again like it is with the TW registration?
A: CG_Miller - We've looked into this in the past, and the task is bigger than most players realize. Once you register for the GAC we start the process of building the matchups immediately, and you can imagine the havoc one would wreck if players could drop in and out and in and out of the GAC while the game is trying to do some matchup heavy lifting. That said, it's oft-requested, so we'd like to find time to give the players some agency over this.
https://forums.galaxy-of-heroes.starwars.ea.com/discussion/225031/developer-q-a-02-27-2020/p1 - A simple confirmation button would do the job, if a join-and-leave option would really cause so much problems. A simple "Do you really want to do this" confirmation, as it actually should be as well before every ingame purchase, no matter if the real money or the crystal purchases.
- Thanks for the quote @chionophile. I haven't seen that before
But that essentially means it is possible to influence the matchups by joining sooner / later. That's a bad system in itself. Why not let the game have an hour after the join period to figure things out? That would be perfectly fine and a much better approach
Also perfectly right @CadoaBane. It could be so easy ...
Even the gear pieces you can buy every six hours from the store have sort of a confirmation screen and buying those clearly doesn't have an impact on anything unlike joining GAC too early by accident "Bl4ckDe4th;c-2200935" wrote:

Happy to help. I believe that's the most recent (and most comprehensive) answer we've had to that question. I don't necessarily think it makes a lot of sense, though. And adding a confirm button should be relatively easy, and wouldn't interfere with the process established in that Q&A answer."THEredeyejedi;c-2200958" wrote:

Very funny. Sounds like you don't contribute much to your guild's TBs
Absolute right @chionophile. Sure, they'd need to consider people dropping out in their code and it's a much larger number of matchups than for TW, but people leaving and rejoining shouldn't cause more than an additional 10% load, which I think is already a high estimate- Persimius5 years agoSeasoned ScoutOr, once you do it one time, you could just remember how it works.

That must be true while you are still working on your g8 Phoenix."RandomSithLord;c-2200981" wrote:

Most of my Phoenix is still at g8.
Is that a bad thing?- LendersQuiz5 years agoRising TravelerIs this really that hard to do?
- Find an intern, tell him to implement that, done
