why can't we sell unwanted gear!!!

Apparently many people did not realize this and just sat on those droids thinking they had got their rewards from the heists when they really didnt.
So with the additional problem of people selling gear they ended up needing, AND the fact that selling gear awarded such a small amount of credits that it was practically useless to sell anything, they just scrapped the whole selling thing.
I would love as many others have asked for, the ability to up-convert gear into a higher version of that gear. Unfortunately its been asked for years now and they haven't even commented on it so I really doubt we will ever get this.
