Today is 02.11.2020. The DST has ended everywhere it exist (we have been over it for a week in Europe). Nonetheless the game couldn't manage it, we have to change the time settings manually. I don't care what is the time all over the world, I don't care where are DST exists, I just want to keep my Daily Activities Reset at 0:00. Now. Because DST I have to change it manually two times a year, I lost the opportunity to change the daily reset when I want independent from the DST. Because now we can do it only 2 times a year.So please, teach your game to manage the DST (where it exist) and keep my daily reset at 0:00 during the whole year. This way I (and we) have got the opportunity to change it when I need or want it.

Fundamentally, time changes don’t change the world over twice a year, so it seems a stretch to assume that they introduced the change for specifically that reason. On the one hand, I absolutely think that's why they introduced 2 changes a year. Whether or not that's actually the reason is pointless to argue. On the other, that would only be practical if you could get everyone in both your squad and fleet arenas to change when you do (which, given that some places don't practice DST, some change on different dates and some players simply don't care). I think for many players, they simply choose a time when it would work with an hour change one way or the other. Use the changes only as needed for schedule changes.TL;DR - it doesn't matter.

I accidentally set my time back an hour after it was already back an hour, I guess I didn't give it much thought .. now I have to wait until the first of the year and set it ahead 2 hours while dealing with an off clock for 2 months

Why can't your system manages the Daylight Saving Time?

Africa doesn't have dst so they would have to deal with that also.

Clocks change 2 times a year... you can change PO 2 times a year... am I missing something?

Yes. Due to DST, I am forced to shoot both options in a year that is available to me, then I don't have anymore opportunity to change the game time when I need it.
My daily reset is always at 0:00 but since DST in Europe it is on 23:00 independently of me. And this is my problem: the game didn't manage it so far. I have to set it back to 0:00 manually. And because of that, I won’t be able to switch later if I need it for my job or anything else.

I guess for most (at least for me) it is a minor inconvenience, but I can imagine that for some it is annoying. I understand that CG wants to prevent misusing this feature. But I'm pretty sure that increasing the daily reset changes to, let's say, 4 times a year wouldn't hurt anyone
