Why don't TB battles have some minimal payout?

I agree wholeheartedly with this! My guild is at 12mil GP and we got 10 stars - for the last few phases we had no chance at all of getting a star, so I didn't even bother doing anything - no combat missions or deployment. If we could get some kind of reward besides the TB credits I would be more inclined to participate even if we couldn't get more stars
