Did your guild get 0 stars? Rewards DO have a minimal payout if you achieve at least one star.
Devs have said this is a group activity, which is why rewards are equal. It's up to guild leadership to motivate and direct people towards achieving a goal.
If your personal goal is to earn max rewards in TB, then yes, you absolutely have to be in an active guild that pushes towards those rewards and possibly even cuts non-contributors.
If you are in a casual guild, that is, I feel, a valid mode of gameplay. But you have to accept that you are in a casual guild. A casual player in a casual guild is not going to get All Teh Thingz. Progress will take a very long time. But presumably you accept that and are happy with it if you've chosen a casual mode of gameplay.
If your guild is so casual that it's all social loafers and no one makes an effort until they see other people doing so, then I'm sorry. That's not really being casual, that's just being lazy. Maybe you could find another casual guild that at least does the best it can, or even a low-key active guild that you know won't cut you.
