If your guild is so casual that it's all social loafers and no one makes an effort until they see other people doing so, then I'm sorry. That's not really being casual, that's just being lazy. Maybe you could find another casual guild that at least does the best it can, or even a low-key active guild that you know won't cut you.
You missed my point, the guild I'm in isn't social butterflies, they do have lives. Pick up Freakonomics or any social economics book and you'll see the points I tried to make about this system. The top guilds will do fine, but the rest are going to have this problem to varying degrees. I can see many guilds ending up with most members only doing platoons and deployments for most areas and only doing battles in one or two. People are great at gaming the system and for most guilds, that is the best answer as things stand now.
