Things like Jedi Luke and Luke's X-Wing will come. Eventually. But they are on no set timetable.

It'd make sense to be a marquee event, requiring Biggs and Wedge, their X wings, and Han and Chewie and their Millennium Falcon as a reinforcement, fighting TIE Advanced and TIE fighters with TIE fighter reinforcements. TIE advanced has a special mechanic that makes it unable to take damage until the TIE fighters are gone, and TIE fighter reinforcements would continue to come in until the Millennium Falcon reinforced. Every 2 turns TIE advanced would 1 shot one of your ships. Enemy capital ship is the death star, which doesn't do much except let them reinforce with TIE fighters, similarly whatever your Capital ship was would just have reinforcement on a 2 turn cooldown, maybe some simple skill, but nothing fancy.

So basically you'd need to survive and kill TIE fighters, maybe get them low but not kill till you reinforce, lose Biggs because he'd taunt and get targeted, Reinforce with the Falcon, kill TIE fighters, then TIE advanced, then "you're all clear kid now let's blow this thing and go home!"
