Why is there only a sliding bar to select training droid quantity?

There is a sliding bar with a plus/minus arrow for using sim tickets on missions and there are only a few missions possible, but if you want to select training droids there is only the sliding bar. I have thousands of training droids and if I only want to select a few there is no easy way to do it.

Can we please fix this basic quality of life issue.
