Why no rewards for Marquee Events after Initial Rollout?

I get the first time rollout of the Marquee events is where you can earn the shards for a new character, portrait, titles etc.. but after that they come back and there's nothing else for us to earn f...

The return is for players who missed it to get the shards.

I don't feel like others need the rewards again, but not having it show up under events would be nice.

Notifications aren't working either, so you just have to login and scroll past 10 completely useless events to see if there's anything you can do.  HORRIBLE UX.
