Why so much hate on the Sith Marauder?

I've got him at level 85, Gear Level 8, with no mods. He's not the best, I'll admit that, and I am slightly disappointed in his stats because of the demo videos we saw before he was released. But he's not the worst character in this game. Honestly I can't complain too much about his stats because a Zader lead can remedy that issue pretty easily. My only true complaint is that as of now, he is restricted pretty heavily to a Zader lead in order to be effective, he needs the debuffs in order to be able to do much damage. In a Galactic War battle I was testing him out since his gear level and health are a bit too low to try in arena for now (he's only G8 guys), and he got a critical hit for 20k under Vader's lead. Once he's farmable, I'm gonna try to use him in arena. He seems like he'll be pretty good once he gets geared up.
