Why would I play a freemium game that doesn’t have big flashy payouts?
A freemium game works on the same principle as a casino. Keep peoples eyes on the flashing lights and bells. I keep seeing people say that because you can get all the same rss and some new ones, it’s okay that GC got walled. I think cutting the dailies in half and making the rewards tiny, and consolidated to one crate, you’ve removed the emotional payout.
The GC paywall is another example of a situation where you totally removed the sense of accomplishment that keeps people playing everyday.
It feels like this update was designed for players that keep spreadsheets of the payouts and get satisfaction from numbers not accomplishments. Not sure I’m going to keep showing up everyday anymore.
