Will deleting the app lead to loss of all data?

I need to restore my MotoG2 to factory settings, don't ask why. So when the app gets deleted, do I lose all data and progress, or is it store in EA Servers and remians associated with my account? In...

I have my game linked to Google since day one...i always link games to google.
Whenever i reisntall it keeps progress...and i have reinstalled over 10 times...for many reasons.
I actually left the game for several months due to work and time restrictions...when i resintalled, assuming i would have to start over...progress appeared automaticaly... :)
