Will droids get some love soon?

Actually, it's not like saying that at all. It's more like saying other factions have had new stuff and reworks yet droids haven't. The OP was simply asking if there were any updates for his faction due and was probably hoping (in vane) for a dev response.

Rex is literally a counter to droids with his anti-crit leader... not sure what you're talking about. While I do hope for the separatist faction to be released, I'm quite tired of droids always being in the top 50s all the time. It makes the game dry if all you need is a droid team.

I've just this game for over a year now and I always find droids in the top 50s regardless of how many times the meta changed.
Ex. You hardly ever see Rey back up in top 50s, Dooku (although we rework they might start appearing)
Old Ben, and others.

I'm don't know what are talking about. Maybe your server is a exception and droid infested, but while is real that in my server and in, I think, most servers there are a couple of droid teams in the TOP50, they are no way the dominant force. If I go with your logic I should be very pissed with the Nihilus, Sith Troopers and Sith assassin additions as well as the incoming Star Wars: Rebels characters, since both teams, sith and rebels, are way more present in the top50 than droids are even before those new chars. If you check the meta in the database you will see that while is true there is a couple of droids they are no even close to be the most frequent or top teams.

If you don't believe my words, check it by yourself, in the top100 meta droids are not even close to be that frequent, but they are there of course. But if you check the top10 and top1 meta the droids simply disappear, so what you said is a kinda weird opinion in the face of facts. That's my situation, with so many other factions getting reworks, new chars and Rex becoming farmable with the ships store, droids is fading pretty quickly in the very higher ranks. I'm just asking for the droids to get some attention just like jedis, siths, rebels and the empire are having and also first orders and scoundrels with Kylo and Bobba nice rework. Many other factions needs some attention in fact but none of them are that popular in player use as the droids I think.

I don't understand why you would have an issue with droids managing to hold on in the top 50. They've never been a dominating force by any measure. Do you really think it's good game design to have an entire faction unviable? I've even seen a full nightsister squad in the top 20 so credit to EA for managing that level of balance. By the same token, there's been representation from pretty much every faction in the top 50 over the last year.

But let's not lose sight of the issue the OP raised: He'd like to have his chosen faction updated. That's not unreasonable. Power creep is a natural phenomenon of these games and he just wants to know if and when droids might be addressed. It baffles me why anyone would take exception to that but your opinion is your own.
