Been there too buddy. But no, no recourse other than learning from the mistake.

I always double check whose face pops up below when you click on it the first time before hitting buy.

It’s easier to learn in Guild Store and Shard Shop where the gear tends to pop up in the same slots.

it's almost as if naming everything almost the same and having all characters ftmp needing the same gear has led to confusion and problems.

I once accidentally dropped 900 crystals on a mod in the mod shop, thought I was spending credits. It sucks, but there is no recourse :(

Why is the Mk4 Stun gun the crystal price of full raid gear (1400) and the mk5 gun is astronomical (2500)? I can see many people being deceived into buying the wrong one.

The former, I can think of no reason other than tricking you into buying the wrong one. But the reason the full stun gun is so expensive is that in addition to the 50 stun gun salvage, it also includes 50 carbantis, which themselves would cost you 1400 crystals. You can instead buy just the stun gun prototype for 1274 crystals, which is cheaper than most other 50-piece gear.
