In addition the game keeps crashing, (as of 07-13-2019,) now I get stuck on the loading screen for infinity and then it crashes. In the past this was a "me" problem with not enough storage on my phone, so I cleared my cache and cookies, browsing history, and deleted 5 GB worth of apps and useless data and pics. (This usually cures freezing and crashing.) Still freezes then crashes. What's up with this? Same phone and the game worked before this patch, in addition other apps/ games are still working. Hard to be tempted to pay when I can't play.

Turns out it IS a me problem, the app. has its own cache that has to be cleared from time to time. Clearing that fixed my problem. Go to Settings, Apps, pick SWGOH, and somewhere in there, I think under Memory, there is an option to clear your games cache. All your achievements will be saved, characters etc. but settings like music off/ on will be reset, you can easily reconfigure your settings for you and game on.
