Hey man, don't want to bother you too much, but I did want to give my over-the-weekend opinion on Zam. So I have her 7*, essentially maxed (missing a few key slots for gear, which I'm hesitant on filling at this point.)
The simple and only fix for her, is health.
For the life of me, except with a taunting RG, I cannot keep her alive. Even with speed-up, she only gets a few turns in because she's killed so fast. She even gets damaged heavily with opposing AOEs. She's a one-hit kill from Rey, and especially the Rancor, no matter what her health/protection is. Her basic does MAYBE 2K if lucky on a crit, and the highest output I've recorded with the det/basic hit is 7990, and that's if she's alive long enough to plant one, then get another turn to pop it.
This is just feedback, in all fairness. I'm still upping some of my scoundrels to see if she's a team-only player but I've concluded that outside of that option, she cannot be used effectively on a mixed team composition. From what I know about this game, the lower health/protection toons are the ultra-high DPS toons and clearly she is not one of them. I understand she could potentially deal heavy damage if multiple detonators are planted and deployed, but the reality is she simply can't stay alive long enough to get that going.
She's a "set 'em up, knock 'em down" character, but she cannot stay alive long enough to do the knock 'em down part.
Once I get a reasonable scoundrel team assembled, we'll see what the outcome is, but to be honest, I'm beginning to loose faith in her already, and I was genuinely excited to use her and her kit.
