P3 traditionally was the most difficult, suffering from guild members not wanting to waste teams when they could score much more in Phase 4. Teams such as "Chirpentine" fared quite well some people would often swap out one of the tanks (usually Sunfac) for a team of Chirpa(L), Palpatine, STH, Royal Guard and Thrawn.
Modern teams often eschew Phase 3 teams altogether in favour of the new "Big Mix" utilising Admiral Ackbar(L), Asajj, CLS, Thrawn and BB-8. This team along with slight variations can complete 20-30% of Phase two, Phase 3 and Phase 4 giving some amazingly huge scores. To the point of now being a "glass" ceiling in my guild where the same few guys are in the top 5 with over 26m scored and the rest of us feed on scraps.
