The 3 months cleaning is currently in effect. You may already be able to see its effect !
As for the "Reset button", it's not that easy :
When using the app, you don't need to create an account : you just provide the link to your swgoh.gg's account.
Basically anyone can use your swgoh.gg profile to see your mods. That means that if I add a reset button, anyone could as well force you to "forget" your unassigned mods.
But you're right : there's a bunch of old mods that will never be assigned anymore. So, I arbitrary set a 3 months cleaning cycle. If the mod is good enough, you'll probably equip it again under 3 months, thus leaving him in the database... If the mod remains not equipped, just wait for a few months...
Waiting... That's what basically we're doing withi this game anyways lol :)
