Self explanatory title - how do I beat higher star Levis? I've heard the obvious "scimitar as first reinforcement", but I never seem to hit ultimate first. Am I doing something wrong? Any tips or strats would be greatly appreciated.
You could try Executor with Punishing One.
The problem with your Levi being only 4star is that the speed differential between your Levi and a 7star Levi is too great for the Scimitar’s speed boost to let you overtake them.
As it happens, even if both are 7star, an r9 Levi will not overtake an r10 Levi with the Scimitar strategy either.
The only thing I can think of that might work is fielding Tie Reaper from the start. That causes the enemy cap ship to lose 15% TM when any ship is defeated. That and Scimitar first reinforcement might get you back ahead in the ult race, but it might not be enough.
I was using that before. Didn't work.
The 5 ships I've got are pretty crucial to the team. Interceptor has the basic instakill.
Drop Tie Dagger for Reaper until your Levi is up at higher star levels. It’s worth a try, and there are no other suggestions that might make it work.
Reaper isn't great either, Shore isn't at relics and I think it's only at 3 or 4 stars. Worth a try though.
Reaper’s not there to survive, if anything, low levels will be more beneficial.
This consistently beats 7 star Levi. Mark and kill daggar as soon as you can then bring in the MK IV to keep them from getting second special and focus down their fighters with everything when it comes out, then bring out your tank ( may lose P1 at this point, no biggie). You'll get your ult before them with the amount of breach you'll put out. Slave 1 isnt necessary most games but it a nice cushion against the r10 (faster) Levi teams.
