I started by tackling the one team I can't beat: GK/Zarriss/Thrawn/Nihilus/R2. I wasn't able to beat the team, but I was able to fully get rid of Thrawn which is progress. I used crystals on a refresh and will try out three more battles before switching back to my regular squad. I'm really interested to see if this works.
I like the creativity - as well as the hope I didn't entirely waste a zeta on Cassian. If anyone else tries this out, I agree with the OP - post your results and your thoughts.
Who are you trying to attack first? What mods do you have on K2? I would definitely use han to stun thrawn in the beginning and if your CLS goes before DN then use his 100%tm ability. When I face those teams that's how I start amd it usually works out. For K2, protection is the most important mod stat. I have protection primary on his triange, arrow, circle and cross I believe. As long as your cassian is fast he calls K2 to assist frequently so the taunt keeps coming back. Even if the squad doesn't work for you I wouldn't think you wasted a zeta on Cassian because it is extremely useful in TB. The buffs refresh each phase.
